Shuttleworth Engineering Manager Selected as Judge for FIRST Robotics State Competition
Mar 21, 2017HUNTINGTON, IN (March 21, 2017) - Michael Liu, Engineering Manager for Shuttleworth, has been selected as a judge for the Indiana State First Robotics Competition to be held April 7 & 8 at Huntington North High School.
Sponsored by FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology), the Indiana State Robotics Competition is an annual event which combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. High school students and their adult mentors work together to solve a problem and create a unique solution for a theme. This year's game animation is Steamworks.
Huntington County's 4H Robotics Team, 1501 T.H.R.U.S.T., won the Archimedes world sub-division gold medal last year and is now ranked number seven out of over 3,100 worldwide teams. Shuttleworth is a proud sponsor of the team.
