Products often need to feed packaging equipment or processes in multiple lanes. Our Slip-Torque conveyor has a unique low pressure advantage with its segmented slip rollers across the conveyor surface in comparison to conventional flat belts or table top chains. This feature allows each lane to have independent slip or drive motion without multiple sensors and complicated controls, saving costs since the rollers are segmented and independent from rollers in adjacent lanes.
This application saves energy because the relative motion or slip occurs between a highly-engineered bearing surface in the roller and the shaft which powers it; as opposed to a beltmor chain being drug under the product on the line during accumulation. Another benefit is the energy savings it provides by powering all the conveyor lanes from one common drive and allowing for efficient use of space.
