Vertical Buffers

Shuttleworth originally designed vertical buffering tower solutions for the Solar and PV Industries with customers needing to optimize their line efficiency with either a First In Last Out (FILO) or First In First Out (FIFO) accumulation and buffering solution or panels and cells in between manufacturing processes. We have since taken the same concept and applied it to Electronic, Food and Baking, and Glass panel manufacturing industries.

Used mainly to absorb production irregularities within a production line, our buffering towers have also been designed and used for product cooling or curing between processes. The small relative footprint needed for vertical accumulation towers makes the vertical buffers ideal for those who need to accumulate a lot of product but don't have the square footage available.
