Shuttleworth to Showcase Product Handling Solutions Expertise at Expo Pack 2019

May 16, 2019

HUNTINGTON, IN., May 16, 2019 – Shuttleworth, a leader in automated product handling solutions, will be demonstrating its conveyor system capabilities featuring the legendary Slip-Torque® roller technology at Expo Pack Guadalajara, June 11-13 at the Expo Guadalajara exhibition center.

The company's innovative Slip-Torque® technology creates low back pressure, enabling transportation and accumulation of products without jamming, scuffing or shingling. It consists of individually powered rollers shafts which are covered with segmented, loose fit rollers – creating friction between and controlling the driving force on the product. This allows for ease of conveyance for delicate food products such as flatbreads, tortillas, pizzas and more.

"Our roller surface technology provides the benefits of accumulation, gentle product handling, flexible production flow and reduced product damage," states Ken Tinnell, VP and General Manager of Shuttleworth. "From accumulation within a packaging line to precise product positioning for integration with a robot, Slip-Torque is the conveyor technology of choice for over 15,000 applications worldwide in the food and beverage, healthcare, automotive, paper, electronics and more industries."
