Timing Jump Belt Replacement & Installation

The timing jump belt is a treaded belt that transmits power from a chain driven roller shaft to a non-driven roller shaft. If the Timing Jump Belt is broken or the thread on the belt is broken or the tread on the belt is worn, it is time to replace the Timing Jump Belt.

First, make sure the equipment is locked out. Next, remove the bushing cover on the side of the conveyor. Use a 17mm wrench loosen the bolts. Then remove the cover. Then pop out the roller shaft end from the bushing holder to loosen the belt. Remove the old belt and replace with a new Timing Jump Belt and replace with a new belt. Push the roller shaft back to the bushing holder to tighten the belt. When finished, replace the bushing cover on the side of the conveyor. Step six is done by placing the cover over the bolts, then tighten with a 17mm wrench. Remove the lock out / tag out from the system and continue operation.

If the Timing Jump Belt is broken or the tread on the belt is worn, it is time to replace the Timing Jump Belt.
