Laning and Diverting Corrugated Trays - System Spotlight

This system was designed for one of our customers that wanted transport, accumulate, and index cardboard trays at a rate of about 20 trays per minute. Trays enter the system from a wrapper and accumulate behind a product stop. The blade stop will lower, releasing a single tray to the middle lane of a three-lane conveyor. Controls, provided by Shuttleworth, alternately divide the trays into three lanes. An in-surface pusher diverts the trays to its designated lane while blade stops lower to allow the product to continue downstream.

Welcome to System Spotlight, giving you an in-depth look at Shuttleworth’s more advanced product handling systems and conveyor applications. In this video, we will showcase a solution for one of our customers that wanted to transport, accumulate, and index cardboard trays at a rate of about 20 trays per minute.
